Dr. Massie received his A.B. in history from Princeton, his masters in social ethics from Yale, and his doctorate in corporate strategy from Harvard Business School. From 1996 to 2003, Massie was the chief executive of Ceres and served as the co-founder and first chair of the GRI. In 2002 he organized the first Institutional Investor Summit on Climate Risk at the UN. In April 2009 he received both the prestigious Bavaria Impact and Innovation Awards for his transformative work on capital markets.
